I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?

This year, I’m compelled to join thousands of others by shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! Many children and their families are currently being treated and having to navigate circumstances most could never imagine. I especially want to keep in mind those here in Central Florida being treated at world class hospitals like Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.

Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. To shave my head in solidarity with such brave children is the least I can do.

Your Roles

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
