I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I shaving my head and donating my hair?

On May 28th, it will be 11 years since I lost my aunt to colon cancer. She wasn’t just family—she was like a second mother and one of my best friends. Her love for children and passion for helping others continues to inspire me every day. In her honor, I’ve chosen to support a cause I know she would’ve believed in deeply: funding life-saving research for children with cancer.

I’m proud to be joining thousands of people in the St. Baldrick’s Foundation’s mission to Conquer Kids’ Cancer. What started as a simple challenge among friends 25 years ago has become the largest volunteer movement for childhood cancer research.

The reality is heartbreaking: 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive. And for those who do, over 96% will face severe or life-threatening conditions by age 50. These kids deserve more.

Every dollar donated creates a ripple of hope—for better treatments, for groundbreaking research, for brighter futures.

Please consider donating to support this cause. Your gift will help fund the best childhood cancer research across the country through the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, the largest charitable funder of its kind.

Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve.

Thank you for your love and support.
