I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Last year, I made the decision to cut my hair short for the first time in 27 years to donate to Children with Hair Loss, an incredible organization that provides free wigs to children with medical hair loss. It was a simple act, but one that held immense meaning. As an aspiring pediatric dermatologist, I’ve seen firsthand how hair loss affects a child’s self-esteem, how it can make them feel isolated at a time when they need support the most. That’s why hair donation is so incredibly important—it’s a small sacrifice that can bring immeasurable joy and confidence to a child going through the toughest battle of their life.

A high-quality, custom wig made from real hair allows them to look in the mirror and smile, to feel strong, beautiful, and brave. Best of all, these wigs are provided free of charge to families, ensuring that no child has to go without simply because of financial barriers.

By donating hair, fundraising, or spreading awareness, you are directly changing a child’s life—helping them reclaim their confidence during one of the toughest battles they will ever face.

Join the movement. Donate. Fundraise. Spread awareness. Every strand of hair, every dollar donated, and every act of kindness brings us closer to a world where no child has to suffer alone.

Together, let’s give these kids the strength, confidence and joy they deserve.

Thank you for your support!
