As some of you know, Shepard has a very rare immune disorder called Job’s Syndrome, which makes him more vulnerable to infections and inflammation. He’s been through more than most adults—hospital visits, injections, constant monitoring—and yet he’s always the first to want to help someone else.
So when he heard about the chance to support kids with cancer, he and Mike decided to shave their heads in solidarity. I’ll be singing throughout the event—doing my best to hold back tears—because I already know it’s going to be an incredibly powerful day.
On May 4th, we’ll be at the St. Baldrick’s “Shave for the Kids” event at Foxwoods, raising funds to support research for childhood cancers.
We’re hoping to raise $1,000—because kids fighting cancer deserve more than just hope.
They deserve cures. They deserve safe treatments. They deserve a future.
Cancer is still the #1 disease killer of children, and that’s why we’re teaming up with St. Baldrick’s, the leading charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, now in their 25th year.
If you’re able to donate or share, we’d be so grateful. Every dollar truly makes a difference.
