I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head! I had always thought about it, but wanted to do it for a cause that truly matters. When I mentioned this idea to a friend, she suggested this event, and while my first instinct was to back out, I felt compelled to follow through. Each shaved head raises awareness and funds for the mission of curing childhood cancer.

In addition, I’ll be donating my hair to Children With Hair Loss, a charity that provides free wigs to children who have lost their hair due to medical reasons.

Did you know that 1 in 5 children diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive? For those who do, over 96% face severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they turn 50.

Thank you for your support!
