I have many things to be grateful for in my life. More than I deserve. A wonderful family, great friends and coworkers, a great career. So 26 years ago when challenged to give back, I was bless to help found this foundation to help reinvigorate the push to recruit new young doctors / scientists into the childhood oncology world. And to fund cutting edge research to find a cure for all childhood cancers. While much progress has been made over the last quarter century, there is so much work left to be done. Too many children are still not winning their battle against this horrendous disease. And too often the treatments are worse than the disease.
So with that in mind, I will be shaving my head for the 28th time this year to do my part in finding a more humane cure for every childhood cancers. I humbly ask, and would be very honored to have your support in taking childhood back from cancer as we conquer kids cancer.
Thank you in advance for your kind consideration. Please explore the foundation’s website to learn more about the foundation, it work and the impact St Baldrick’s has had on research and survival rates.

Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?
A challenge among friends 25 years ago has become the largest volunteer movement to Conquer Kids’ Cancer. This year, I’m joining thousands of others to shave my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!
Did you know, 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive? For those who do, more than 96% have severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they are 50.
Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.
Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!
