I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team 49B

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team 49B

Why am I shaving my head, and why should you  care?

Back in 2017, my brother Steven asked if i’d be on his team for this event.   We  made it a yearly thing and going into 2020 our team had 4 family members INCLUDING our Mom , who was  going to shave with us….  Then disaster struck.   Our Governor banned haircuts , effectively killing this event.    We weren’t about to let the kids down.   We assembled at an underground location , brought in a rogue hair stylist who wasn’t afraid  of persecution by the Pritzker regime and we proceeded to hold our own shaving and donating of more than  $1000  to this wonderful organization.    While we found a way to triumph, sadly this event was not held in our locale again until now!
