I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Yes Way, Jose!

What could possibly be more important than saving the life of a child? At our event, some folks will shave their heads – and others like me will keep the hair we have and put our hearts into supporting childhood cancer research. I am dedicating this fundraising effort in memory of my neighbors, Javier and Laura's son, Jose. Though I never had the honor of meeting Jose, I know that no parent should ever have to endure the unimaginable pain of losing a child. No child should have to suffer through harsh treatments that often come with lasting side effects. As a scientist, I’m committed to working alongside other researchers to discover new, more effective therapies with fewer side effects. Your donation plays a crucial role in this work—it truly makes a difference in the lives of patients and their families. During the pandemic, donations have been down sharply, which is a big deal since the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the largest non-government supporter of childhood cancer research grants. I want to make sure kids know we care. I want more research to save lives. Thank you for your support in this fight. Together, we can bring hope to those who need it most!
