I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: LGBTQ+ Healthcare Alliance

Hey friends and family!!

It's an honor to participate in St. Baldrick's again! I was blown away and incredibly humbled by everyone's support last year, and I really hope to be able to that again this year with y'all! So: why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?

I’m joining thousands of others to shave my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.

Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!

Writing the thank you cards last year was by far one of my favorite parts so that will be the stretch goal of reaching $1,000 again this year! I tried to think of what other stretch goals I could come up with that would be fun to aim for and decided on shaving my beard as well at $1,250 and then if we reach $2,000 I'll commit to keeping my head fully shaved all the way until I pass my boards at the end of the semester, which would be at the end of May if all goes well!
