I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Elk Grove Village Police & Friends

Good morning, friends and family. This coming March 14th, for my 10th consecutive year, I will once again be shaving my head in support of St. Baldricks & pediatric cancer research. This is a cause I feel strongly about and if possible, I ask for your support in the form of a donation to this incredible research charity. If you are a parent fortunate enough to have healthy children, like my wife Kate & I, you realize what an absolute blessing that is.

While rare, cancer is the fourth leading cause of death in children and adolescents from 1 to 19 years old. And a new study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute shows pediatric cancer is rising overall.

Together these past 9 years, we’ve raised significant money for this much needed & deserving research, but we still have a long way to go. I’m asking for your help today with whatever you are able to donate . Whether it’s a kid down the block, a relative or a friends kid, some family you know is facing a scary and unpredictable uphill battle, and they need & deserve our help.

I’ll end with my favorite tag line, “ give thanks for the healthy kids in your life”.

Thanks,

Bill
