I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

3rd time is a charm!  This will be my third time shaving my head for St. Baldrick's Foundation.  St. Baldrick's has been very near and dear to my heart being the biggest non-governmental funder of childhood cancer research. Here at Alaska Children's Specialties--Oncology clinic, we are very proud to be able to enroll children on Children's Oncology Group research studies as this international group of researchers has made incredible strides in treating childhood cancer.  I have seen great things happen with treatment of childhood cancer in my 20 years of pediatric oncology nursing, but so much more needs to be done.  Thank you, St. Baldricks and let's raise some money!
