Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?

I'm shaving my head to help fund research and continue the fight to find a cure for pediatric cancer. I was once a cancer patient. At the age of two I was diagnosed with AML Leukemia and underwent chemotherapy and other developing treatments. Fortunately, I was able to defeat cancer thanks to the research and advancements that have been made in the treatment of pediatric cancer. That research is funded by events like this one, and I want to continue the fight to find a cure for cancer in order to help kids who are in the position that I was once in.
