I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Mar 9, 2024 • 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Event: The St. Baldrick's Experience

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

March 9th I'll Brave The Shave (go bald) for St. Baldrick's Childhood Cancer Research, donate my 12" of hair to Children With Hair Loss to make wigs, and donate the loose hair collected since 2019 to Matter Of Trust to clean up oil spills.

Why?

 1. I believe funding science/ evidence-based research is important.

2. I'm emotionally impacted when I think of children battling illness.

3. I feel shaving my head sparks a conversation which brings awareness and empathy.

Thank you so much for your support (even non-financial) for what I'm doing, it's truly appreciated!

Goals:

$100 = Bald + "Zebra Beard"...

$200 = 1 week w/ a "Diamond Mohawk" and "Zebra Beard"...

$500 STRETCH = Above+ Lake Michigan (March) 100% Submerged Polar Plunge w/ Video Posted (Today's water temperature in Kenosha is 37.2°F.  OMG)!

And yes I'll be on camera for every work call and meeting :).
