I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Danny Boy was diagnosed with a malignant rhabdoid tumor on his liver at just 5 months of age. He underwent several sessions of chemotherapy, which had no effect and couldn't stop the cancer from spreading. He became an angel when he was 9 months old.

The O'Brien family raises money in the hopes that one day a family given the same diagnosis will not face the odds Danny did. To date, they have raised over $570,000! This has led to the funding of three research grants aimed at curing childhood cancer; one at Vanderbilt University, one at Baylor University, and most recently at University of Colorado, which was renewed last year. The research at the University of Colorado focuses on infant leukemia, and has progressed to a clinical trial.

Please help support the O'Brien's in Danny's memory to continue to help other families facing this diagnosis.
