At our event, some will shave their heads or donate their hair (me!) to organizations like Children with Hair Loss and put our hearts into supporting research to find cures and safer treatments for all childhood cancers.
At our fundraiser last year, I made the decision to cut my hair short for the first time in 27 years to donate to Children with Hair Loss, an incredible organization that provides free wigs to children with medical hair loss. As an aspiring pediatric dermatologist, I’ve seen firsthand how hair loss affects a child’s self-esteem, how it can make them feel isolated at a time when they need support the most. That’s why hair donation is so incredibly important—it’s a small sacrifice that can bring immeasurable joy and confidence to a child going through the toughest battle of their life. My hair hasn't grown back long enough to donate again this year and I am focusing my efforts on raising money and planning another successful event!
I am asking for your support to help me reach my fundraising goal!
Why? Because cancer is the #1 disease killer of kids.
This is why I’m teaming up with St. Baldrick’s – the #1 charity funder of childhood cancer research grants – in their 25th year. Every year, new antibody therapies are developed that are curing childhood cancer, and now ~80% of children who are diagnosed will survive, all because of the research that your donations are funding❤️
Your donation can help ensure that the next 25 years bring hope, progress, and cures. Together, we speed up the progress of saving the lives of these brave children.
Thank you for your donation!
