I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm honored to be shaving for my 7th year and joining the elite rank of Knights of the Bald Table! God knows I've been so blessed despite a few health challenges myself, and shaving for a cure is the LEAST I can do. Would you please support me? Even $5 or $10 will help me reach my goal!

I'm shaving this year in honor of my Grammy and my "Pa" (short for grandpa) both of whom are bravely battling cancer. I'm also shaving in honor of my good friend Bode Kloos who beat cancer twice! Although I'm older than Bode, he's the one I look to for inspiration because he's been so brave throughout his arduous journey. And of course, I also honor the memory of Anthony Petrocelli, a teammate and friend of my brother Jack, who despite a brave fight wasn't as lucky. He will always be missed.

Did you know, 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive? For those who do, more than 96% have severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they are 50. With all our government spends money on, that makes me angry and it has to change. Thankfully, St. Baldrick's helps fill in funding shortfalls to help find real cures for kids battling cancer NOW.  Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.

Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!
