I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

There is a cul de sac.  Each family with four kids.  We grew up together-jumped through sprinklers and life together.  

The next generation of us were my nephew Davis and Brooks Blackmore.  They would run, ride bikes, laugh, and remind us of how we all grew up.  Then Brooks got sick… and we had to watch as the family who we lived out seasons and years with lost their Brooks to brain cancer.

I have raised money for St Baldricks ever since.  Last year was a hard year bc it marked 6 years with Brooks and 6 years without.  6 years of seeing my amazing nephew grow-knowing the years Tracey & Josh didn’t have their son.  

I am priveldged to be able to raise money again in honor of Brooks again this year.
