Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives. I have been personally touched by Cancer many times now.
My MOM in 1984; to Breast Cancer. My WIFE; Lisa to Appendix Cancer in 2017 and recently a mother in law to Leukemia all lost their battles. I also have a sister fighting Breast Cancer. So if I can shave off some hair to help a child with Cancer then I am doing it.
Working here at Upstate I have seen many kids and families battling this disease.
Let's not let them fight this fight alone, The kids are the HERO's here.
Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.
Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down.
