I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Shears & Beers

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s?  Number one, I am a teacher and have seen students affected by cancer through the last twenty years in the classroom.  Number two, this is also something I have wanted to do for a while.  With many in my life that have suffered the affects of cancer directly or indirectly, I want to do all that I can to help.  Raising money for charitable organizations is something I definitely miss doing and am welcoming it back into my life.


Research is hope for kids with cancer, but donations to find cures have been down since 2020.

Your gift will give kids hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charitable funder of childhood cancer research grants.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you!
