I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Pirates Pillaging For A Cure

My involvement in St. Baldrick's is personal. Our family has experienced first-hand the devastation of childhood cancer, losing our beautiful four-year-old son to cancer in 2003. It's a nightmare no one wants to live and an experience that has fueled our fight for a cure that will mean fewer children, fewer families, ever have to know this personal devastation. Research is hope for kids with cancer, but donations to find cures have been down since 2020 and we are determined to help change that trend. Our family has been supporting St. Baldrick's for the past 15 years, giving our hair, our money, our time and our heart and soul in honor of our son Patrick.

We are so excited to be partnering with Noon Whistle this year! At this fun-filled event, some folks will shave their heads – and others like me will keep the hair we have and put our hearts into supporting childhood cancer research. We'd love to have you join us on March 12th!

Sadly, cancer kills more of our children than any other disease. Your gift will give kids hope by supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charitable funder of childhood cancer research grants.

Let's fight this fight! I truly appreciate your support!

P.S. I've included a few pictures of Patrick below. You can see what an imp he truly was! I wish I had more photos which would have meant I had more moments with him. Let's make sure other families have more photos than they could ever post with their children!
