I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research
What could possibly be more important than saving the life of a child? Childhood cancer comes in many forms and attacks kids of all ages. They deserve the best care and treatment we can give them.
At our event at the St. Patrick's Day Festival March 11-13 on Water Street in Henderson, some folks will shave their heads – and others like me will keep their hair. We have put our hearts into supporting childhood cancer research. Our St. Baldrick's booth at the festival will be open all day on Saturday to fundraise for this worthwhile event. Stop by and see us while you're enjoying the parade, the carnival, fantastic food and wonderful entertainment.
During the pandemic, donations have been down sharply, which is a big deal since the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the largest non-government supporter of childhood cancer research grants.
I want to make sure kids know we care. I want more research to save lives. Please support me with a donation. Thank you!
