I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Cardinal Glennon Heme/Onc

This year, Cardinal Glennon's inpatient (4 North) and outpatient (Bob Costas Center) hematology/oncology units are teaming up with St Baldrick's to raise money for childhood cancer research. September is childhood cancer awareness month and we have made it this year's goal to increase funding.

According to Children's Cancer Cause about 1 in 285 children will develop cancer before the age of 20. Around 4% of governmental funding goes towards pediatric cancer research. Our kiddos deserve much more than this! With your donation, we can help increase this amount and ultimately help better the lives for our kids.

Cardinal Glennon directly benefits from the work of the St. Baldrick's Foundation. It's only right that we give back to them as well!

Go gold with us, the heme/onc nurses of Cardinal Glennon, this September!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
