I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

It's been 10 years now that I have been shaving my head to help raise money to assist with research for a cure. Like most of my friends, I was blessed with two healthy daughters and now two healthy grandchildren. So why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will save lives. Can you imagine if it was your child or grandchild were born with one of these devastating diseases? I can't. Nor would I want to. But the reality of the situation is that it exists, and not only does it wreck horror on families, but destroys the innocence of childhood. If a simple shearing can raise money help even one family, Count me in.

Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down.

Please, can you help?

Thank you so much!
