I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Krista's Crusaders

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Krista's Crusaders

Krista's Crusaders are a team of loyal shavers who joined together every year since 2016 to shave our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! Our Team’s name is focused on Krista! She was a wonderful kid who was diagnosed with brain cancer (tumor) when she was 7 years old, back in 2003.

She fought the battle of her life. She was a courageous fighter, who took on cancer with such grace, poise, and determination. Her fight ended when she was 11 years old, when she became an angel. During the almost 4-year battle (radiation, chemo, hospital visits, needle pricks, medicine, losing her hair multiple times, and so many more things), she stayed in love with life, her family, Jesus, and her friends. Cancer may have taken her life, but her memory lives on. Krista changed the world for everyone who knew her.

A friend recently wrote and sang a beautiful song that inspired by the stories he heard, He created a video and gave it to me, which I am sharing for the world to see. You can view that video here on YouTube by searching for “Change the world Krista Wolfe”. Here the URL. Check it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vzWGpVRvJ4 While we cannot save her, we can do something to help other kids. So, we shave, we raise, and we keep on going day after day, hoping that a cure will soon be found.

If you can, please give generously, to give kids with cancer the long, healthy lives they deserve.

Thank you!
