I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Almost two years ago I had a life turning event that not only had me look at my own life differently, but gave myself the opportunity to appreciate all the positive influences that have inspired me. A handful of these inspirational people have suffered hair loss due to cancer or alopecia. August 2020 was when I had my last hair cut and that October is when I decided to start this journey to refrain from cutting my hair so I can donate to honor those special people in my life. I’m helping two great organizations. St Baldrick’s cause it’s the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants. Plus, I will be donating my hair to Children With Hair Loss that makes free wigs to children with medically related hair loss. Like most of us, the pandemic has put quite the toll on us. St Baldrick’s is no exception. The pandemic has slowed down funding for cancer research. Let’s help these children who can benefit from cancer research.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
