I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TEAM CONNOR

To my dearest family and friends...I am making a heartfelt plea to you to help fight against childhood cancer. A young boy around 10 years old by the name of Connor has been recently diagnosed with lymphoma cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy treatment now. My son Nikolas and Connor spent a lot of time together camping, hiking, and selling popcorn for Boyscouts with their Den, the Vikings. These boys could spend hours talking about Yu-Gi-Oh, Gameboys, Heelys and the Carolina Hurricanes. We have come to know Connor's energy, high spiritedness and his love for living life. Connor is my inspiration to try to strike down this terrible illness. I have learned from personal experience that cancer can snatch away a loved one so quickly. I haven't shared this with many but right before Nikolas was born I lost my father to lymphoma cancer. So, when this opportunity came up to support the fight against cancer I knew it was time for me to make a difference. To me this is about bringing hope to people with cancer and their families. To do this I have volunteered to have my head shaved to show my support of the children that have lost their hair from their treatments. I am also asking for your financial support to see me with a shiny bald head and raise money for this worthy cause. Any amount donated will be a blessing. All I ask is for you is to look within your heart and give, if you can, what is comfortable for you. March 24th is only a few weeks away. So, don't miss out. I will start off with a reverse mohawk and then go for the finale of total baldness. Thank you so much!! God Bless You All!!
