I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Dean Horne - OMA

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Dean Horne - OMA

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? For a number of reasons: 1) This is a fantastic fundraiser for a great cause. Anything that helps/supports children has my support. 2) This is a year of change and new beginnings for me. This is my 50th year on earth and my first as a Dean, which has been a goal of mine. Hopefully this year will contain a successful dissertation defense for me. 3) Although I've had my hair cut many times, my natural hair is pretty short, and I love to change my look with fabulous wigs and scarves, I've never had a completely bald head so why not for a great cause? 4) I'd love it if each of you would support me and donate at least $1 to cheer me on!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
