I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Class of 2018

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Class of 2018

I am shaving my head in memory of Michael Orbany. Michael was one of my best friends during my early years at St. Bernadette’s until he passed away from Metastatic Medulloblastoma, a cancerous brain tumor, in fourth grade when he was just nine years old.

Michael’s “Never Ever Give Up” mantra and seemingly unbreakable spirit inspired hundreds of students, including myself, to shave their head to help raise money for pediatric cancer research.

While St. Baldrick’s was a staple at St. Bernadette’s during my class’s time at the school, the head shaving event has not happened in recent years. With this reemergence, several of Michael’s classmates from the St. Bernadette Class of 2018 have decided to shave our heads one last time.

Please consider donating to the Class of 2018 fundraising page!
Thank you and Never Ever Give Up!
