I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm finally going to shave my head to help fund childhood cancer research! I've wanted to do this for years, wanted to help, but also have been nervous about being bald, being "the bald couple." After I watched our employee and friend, Summer, lose her hair to chemo while bravely fighting cancer, I realized shaving my head is actually a painless way to really help.

Cancer kills more kids than any other disease; around 400,000 children are diagnosed with cancer every year. Research can change that. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.

I only want to do this once! Can you help? Thank you so much!
