I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

What could possibly be more important than saving the life of a child? At our event, some folks will shave their heads – and others like me will keep the hair we have and put our hearts into supporting childhood cancer research. As a pediatric oncology nurse, I have worked closely with these patients and families for nearly 35 years, almost my entire nursing career. I have seen first hand how research has impacted the lives of these children with some cure rates over 90%. Unfortunately, this is not the case for some cancers. This is where we need your help! During the pandemic, donations have been down sharply, which is a big deal since the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the largest non-government supporter of childhood cancer research grants. I want to make sure kids know we care. I want more research to save lives. Please support me with a donation. Thank you!
