I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Every two years, when my school hosts our St. Baldrick's event, it's a powerful reminder of those affected by cancer.  This year, my inspiration comes from closer to home.  I'm shaving in honor of Nate Prigge, my brother's nephew who passed away in January of 2022.

Nate was 16 when he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer.  For nearly three years, Nate courageously battled cancer.  He enjoyed virtual reality video games, and was interested in aeronautical engineering.  He will always be remembered for his beautiful smile, the need to share random “fun facts” dug up from the depths of the internet, his love of music and playing the guitar, and a lifelong search for the world’s best burger.

Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. Can you help?   Even with our shortened timeline, I've set a stretch goal of $1,000 for this event.  Every little bit helps!  Shaving happens on March 17th!

Thank you so much!
