I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: School of Medicine Class of 2025

Hey everyone! I'm working with LSU's Geaux Bald team to help raise money for pediatric cancer research. We also participate in a shave to demonstrate that "bald is beautiful" and spread community awareness about childhood cancer. Here are some facts about pediatric cancer:

Cancer is the #1 cause of death by disease in children.

Only 4% of government spending on cancer research is directed towards childhood cancer.

More than 95% of childhood cancer survivors experience significant health-related issues by age 45 due to current treatment options.

Children with cancer were dealt a bad hand in life, and they have the most to lose from the disease. Thank you for reading and donating!
