I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Lyndsey

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives.

This is very important to me and my family because my youngest daughter, Lyndsey is a Survivor. In Jan 2014, Lyndsey, was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in her right fibula - that's your lower leg bone. Our brave cancer fighter fought her way through 19 rounds of chemo and learned to walk again after major surgery to remove the tumor. Lyndsey, the Cancer-Fighting Ninja, was a great responder to chemo, and finished her long journey to the end of treatment in Sept 2014.

Each year since 2014, I have participated in this amazing event. Now in my 8th year, I am asking for your help again because Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!
