I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U. S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids. Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Even if your support is moral instead of monetary, I really appreciate it. And to whoever's reading this, I'll support you with any challenges you may be going through. Keep pushing through and being the strong person I know you are. Additionally, I'd like to state that I am doing this in honor of my grandmother, Nana, who passed away from skin cancer while I was in high school. I wouldn't have been able to graduate high school or attend college without her. She raised me like she were my parents. I get my humor from her. I wish they would write about her in history books because she was so great. I wish she could have seen me graduate college. I hope that participating in this event and raising money will help people get to spend more time with their loved ones in the future.
