I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers and yes all my hair is coming off! This will be my first St Baldrick's Foundation head shave I have participated in. I'm honored to be able to do this for all the kid out there that are fighting so hard to overcome Childhood Cancers. People are asking me if I'm nervous and the answer is yes. But it's an excited kind of nervous knowing that you are helping all these kids. To be honest when I first started looking into this I was not going to have my head shaved just have and inch or so cut off my pony tail cut. I thought to myself it will grow back and no one will say anything. Then I though about the kids fighting Childhood Cancers they are not doing this half way NO WAY they are all in. So I'm going all in! I'm going to be bald. I'm still trying to get over the idea that I won't have to fix my hair in the morning. But when a sit in the chair for the shave I know it will be giving strength to all the kids. I will continue to join in using that strength as the razor starts the shave my head. Until all my hair is gone.
Now it's your turn I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Please donate to this great event.
