I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The League of Extraordinary Humanity

You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. I've chosen to lend my efforts to this cause because I have witnessed firsthand both the loss and the triumph in the fight against cancer. Not only have I lost family to cancer, and had family friends lose an angel to childhood cancer, but I also have a Grandmother survived breast cancer, and a dear friend who is Kicking cancer's dirty bum through immunotherapy and true grit. Finding a cure is one of the great challenges of our time, and while many are involved in the fight against cancer there are none more brave and heroic than those that carry the direct burden of the disease, and none more courageous than children. In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease, and every 2 minutes a child somewhere in the world is diagnosed. 1 in 5 of those diagnosed will not survive. Please let their strength be an example and stand with me in solidarity with these heroes by making a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. To make a donation, click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail or phone. Thank you for your support!
