I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancer! Just last year I raised $1800, and the year before that, raised $1400. So far, that totals up to $3200 in 2 years. If I reach my goal, I will have raised close to $5000 over these 3 years.

Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U. S. will not survive. Every penny counts when it comes to cancer research. Pediatric cancer is one of the least funded forms of cancer. By donating to the St. Baldrick's foundation, you are giving kids my age a chance to survive this deadly disease. 40 percent of kids age 0 to 14 die from cancer each year. My cousin Ryan won his battle against cancer. Due to the poor research on cancer, my other cousin Nick lost his battle against cancer.
