This will mark 13 years I have been shaving my head in solidarity with kids fighting cancer. I started in Kindergarten and I just graduated from high school!


During this time you have helped my team raise over $93,000 to help fight childhood cancers - if I reach my goal this year I will have raised over $25,000 over the years that I have been fighting for kids to have a chance at fighting their cancer diagnosis! Each winter and spring I work with my family to raise money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Each year I shave my head in solidarity with the kids who lose their hair through treatment to fight whatever kind of cancer has taken over their lives. I was originally inspired by my Dad. Today I am inspired by our honored kid Archie who started fighting cancer (A Wilm's kidney tumor) when he was only 7 months old. Today he is cancer free! There are so many stories on the St. Baldrick's site that tell about all of the kids who fight each and every day - some have lost their battles - some have won - some still fight!
