I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Because of COVID-19, I shaved virtually at home. I did this via Facebook Live on March 27, 2021 at 2:00 pm EDT (GMT-4). It was recorded for viewing. It is available to watch at ==>

Even COVID-19 cannot stop children from developing cancer. In fact, children with cancer are at a higher risk of severe complications, and even death, from COVID-19, due to their weakened immune systems.

I shaved my head, for the second year in a row, with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! If you scroll to the bottom this page, I posted a before and after photo from last year.

Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive.

I still refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise again for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

Last year, I raised $2065 in funding childhood cancers research. This year, my goal is $2500! And, I have a long way to get there by December, 31, 2021. Thank you to everyone who donated!!!

I still need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive.

Let’s #GiveKidsALifetime!!!
