I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Elk Grove Village PD

I'm shaving my head with St Baldrick’s again this March to raise money and help conquer kids' cancer! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer. While Covid 19 has impacted all of our lives this past year, just imagine being told your son or daughter has been diagnosed with cancer, during this very same year. It’s unimaginable for most of us, but reality for a lot of families, including my friends Michael & Helena Smith. Their lil 4yr old daughter Avery is fighting like hell with a disease called OMS/ Neuroblastoma, first diagnosed in 2017. Her condition affects 1 in 10 million kids. I’m shaving my head to show my support for Avery , and kids just like her. Won’t you please join me and make a donation if you can. To paraphrase the late Danny Thomas, “give thanks for the healthy kids in your life “. Thank you friends. Your generosity and support over the years makes me feel extremely grateful for you and your kindness.
