I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
Hey Friends! My name is Caleb Smith. I am a medical student at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. Each year, my campus holds an event in partnership with St. Baldrick's to honor Oklahoma children who have been diagnosed with cancer. Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U. S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids. Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. I am so excited for the opportunity to to make an impact!
I will be shaving my head with St. Baldrick's as part of my fundraising; I have even considered shaving clean if I find the support for it! I hope that you can help me reach my goal!

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
