I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Blast Children's Cancer 2021

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Blast Children's Cancer 2021

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U. S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids. Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive.

I want to shave my head to raise awareness for children’s cancer and anyone else who is fighting. I think it is important for them to have people to look up to and feel less alone about their hair loss. I believe it is important to show those fighting that your hair does not define you and it is not the determining factor of beauty. In the society we live in today, everyone is concerned about their external appearance but what is truly significant is who you are as a person, not what you look like.

I also want to fundraise for this event because I lost my grandfather to Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST) Cancer and I’d love to raise money and awareness in honor of him. Please help contribute to cancer research if you have the means to. It would mean so much to me to help keep my grandfather’s spark alive and create a positive impact from this situation. Every donation counts!
