I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Elizabethtown St. Baldrick's Downtown Shavedown - VIRTUAL TEAM

Selfless shavers, donors & volunteers,

Our kids need us more than ever!!!

Due to the pandemic’s effect on head-shaving events, donations to St. Baldrick’s have dropped 35% this last year, causing a shortfall of almost $13 million in our grants for childhood cancer research in 2020. Since St. Baldrick’s is the largest maker of these grants aside from the U.S. government, that’s a big hit.

Because of the current times our planning committee has decided to do a VIRTUAL ONLY event this year with the entire USA & St. Baldrick's Foundation as a team. Cancer doesn't care about COVID & kids are still being diagnosed every day & funding research is more important than ever.

We encourage you to sign up & do a virtual shave (or DO WHAT YOU WANT) in solidarity with the entire country through the St. Baldrick's Foundation.

DO WHAT YOU WANT: Head-shaving might not be for everyone (& we understand everyone doesn't have clippers lying around), and it doesn't have to be - we want you to think outside the barber cape the sky s the limit!! Want to kayak or walk 5 miles to raise important $$$$ for research? Sign up & go for it!! Want to cartwheel across your front yard for donations??? Just don't hurt yourself & get $$ for research while having fun - LOL!...want to do a good deed for your neighbor for donations? DO THAT!

Please note some additional important information: ALL DONATIONS ARE TO BE MADE ONLINE using the honor system. Cash & check donations can be turned in by you - please reference St.B policies on turning in donations here: https://www.stbaldricks.org/file/Resource_Lounge2/Fundraising_Toolbox/how-to-submit-cash.pdf

To turn in checks that go towards our event you can print this out & mail it in with your check: https://www.stbaldricks.org/donateform/team/130653/2021

I encourage you to follow the Elizabethtown St. Baldrick's Facebook page for updates. Please post any of your St.B head-shaving or DO WHAT YOU WANT SHENANNIGANS &/or tag us or send them to us on messenger & we will post them on your behalf. The 2021 hashtag is: #GiveKidsALifetime Ours is: #EtownStB

You must raise at least $50 to qualify for the highly coveted & fashionable St.B shirt. We are planning on handing out shirts earned (last year's shirts as well) on 3/21/21 at the State Theater parking lot as a drive-through event. Please stay tuned for times.

Thank you for your selflessness, continued support and for doing so much good in these unprecedented times.
