My name is Nicholas Griffith. I have a group called Syracuse Funko Popheads. We are unique because we aren’t just collecting Funko Pops we are giving back to those who need our help. We are a community that cares about the community. Though I don’t know what it’s like to battle cancer I do know what it’s like to just want to feel normal. For years I’ve been living with a mental illness that has made me miss a lot of my life. I want to help these children because I believe that they deserve a childhood free of hospitals, free of treatments and spending quality time with their families at home where they can feel like a normal kid. They shouldn’t have to miss out on life. That’s why I’m shaving my head to help cure childhood cancer.
I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.
Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
