I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Krista's Crusaders

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Krista's Crusaders

IKrista's Crusaders are joining together to raise money for childhood cancer research!

Krista was diagnosed with brain cancer (tumor) when she was 7 years old. She fought a courageous fight. Her fight ended when she was 11 years old. During the battles (radiation, chemo, hospital visits, needle pricks, medicine, losing her hair multiple times, and so many more things), she stayed in love with life and her family. Cancer may have taken her life but we can all do something to help other kids who are diagnosed. To get a feel for how amazing she was, check out the photo of her "life story" in the photos. She wrote this in a journal 12 days before she was called home to the Lord. She was in constant pain and knew her days were numbered. That did not stop her from going to Camp Carefree, Victory Junction, and just spending fun time with friends and family. Well, she wrote that story and focused on people and family. Her final words on that page says it all: "I love everything in my life". With all that was going on in her final weeks, it amazes me that she was able to say those words. We love and miss her and I know you can see why.
