I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Brenner's Baldies

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. This is something that I have been passionate about my whole career. With students returning to school this week in my area-there has been alot of discussion about masks and social distancing. For alot of kids with cancer and their families, masks are a part of their life starting at diagnosis. Therr is scientific value is protecting others and yourself by wearing masks. Please choose to do it for those that need protecting.

This Saturday, 09/26/20, alot of likeminded folks will be shaving their heads to raise money for St. Baldrick's at Ardmore Barbershop in Winston. This will be my 5th year shaving my head. I make the choice to stay bald 30 extra days for each year that I shave. I realized the first year, that as soon as my hair started growing back that the conversations went away. This year I will remain bald until the end of February. I am BALD BY CHOICE- for kids and their families that have no choice in the matter.

St. Baldrick's is one of the largest contributors to Childhood Cancer Research and they do these wonderful events to raise money for research and to support families.

I would really appreciate your support!
