As many of you know, in December of 2019 my best friend Kayla’s son Matthew passed away. I have struggled for months to come to terms with loosing him. Matthew was the biggest inspiration in my life and taught me in his short time here so many important things about life and how to be grateful for the little things. When he passed and i sat in the hospital with my best friend watching everything happen and i couldn’t control it or help in anyway it broke me. I hated seeing my best friend in so much pain. Matthew was the happiest little boy i have ever met. He could always make you smile no matter what. I loved going to the hospital to sit with him for hours. Anyone who knew me knew how much it meant for me to go and visit Kayla and Matthew and how much they meant to me. Not many people knew how much it affected me loosing Matthew though. So after a long consideration I decided to shave my head with Kayla in honor of her sweet baby boy in heaven, on June 14th.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
