I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: NK Cell Ninjas

I've been shaving my head with St. Baldrick's since 2010 to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U. S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality. My laboratory studies a unique part of the immune system- natural killer cells (NK cells, hence our team name) that we think can play a major role in improving the survival of children with cancer. St. Baldrick’s has supported our work on NK cells for AML, neuroblastoma, osteosarcoma, and brain tumors. Join me today and let's #DFYchildhoodCancers the NK cell way!

My Roles:

  • Shavee
  • Team Captain
