I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 4 my lil hero

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 4 my lil hero

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Those of you that know me, most likely know that this is my sixth year as a "shavee" and my goal was to raise $25K in five years, and while I missed that 5-year goal by less than $2K, my new goal is to hit a cumulative goal of $30K by the end of this year-2020.

I set my 2020 goal as $8K which will reveal my bald noggin, but I like to make things a little interesting, so the more money that you help me raise, the more facial hair that will also disappear on this "shave day."

We can do it! As you can see by my hairline, I'm not sure how many more of these I can do, so let's raise the money to reveal my face...if I can raise over $10K this year, with your help, I will shave my head and my full beard! This is a great organization, as children should not be forced to endure the stress of dealing with cancer, especially before even getting the chance to enjoy their life. We've all had this nasty disease affect us in one way or another, which is why I believe that with your support, we can assist this organization in finding a cure and helping children get their chance to live.

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
