I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

On April 1st, 2019, I lost my dear friend and cousin Warren Anderson to cancer. He fought bravely against glioblastoma for more than three years, a type of cancer that grows aggressively and often carries a life expectancy of little more than a year. Warren (left in profile picture) would have been thirty today and is an example of the many individuals lost to cancer at such a young age. 


I have been wanting to do something in his honor for a while now, so for the one-year anniversary of his passing I will be shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers. Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.
